"One of my first trips to Mumbai from London as a child, I would spend time in a small library in Dadar, Mumbai. It was there that I stumbled across Phantom Comics. Discovering an Indian superhero, rather than the stereotypical American characters I had grown up seeing, absolutely blew my mind. It was a powerful moment of cultural recognition and representation, this work is a testament to that culture-shifting moment."
