Together with Nelson Mandela, the three men played a pivotal in the abolition of Apartheid in South Africa. Imprisoned and tortured as part of the famous Riviona trial

The three spent a combined 74 years in jail for conspiring to overthrow the apartheid state.

Three portraits were created, to coincide with the men being invited by the government to receive the Freedom of the City of London which were unveiled at Grosvenor House.
